Joe has won awards for his work as a database manager and sales executive, with 10 years of experience in location technologies and data analysis. Personal Background

Joe loves to play squash, takes fairly good photos and enjoys Parkrun at his local park. He is actively involved in his local church where he leads one of the small home groups. His reading goal for 2017 is 24 books, while also studying logic, data science and theology. He currently lives in Johannesburg with his wife and children.

Joe won Nokia's 2012 Impact Award for his innovative solution to point data collection. His team also won a quarterly regional award in 2014.

Through sourcing activities, technical demonstrations, community leadership, and solution sales, Joe practises the art of getting people mobilised, taking action.

From 2012 to 2014 Joe audited the South African English phonetic database that powers the navigation in high-end BMW, Audi, Daimler vehicles.
